Fordland Families, There will be no school on Tuesday, December 2, due to poor road conditions. The north side of the district, in particular, is still covered in snow and ice in many spots. This day will be forgiven. Stay safe, Eagles!

We are so grateful for the dedicated group of subs who step in with flexibility, energy, and a genuine love for our students. Your willingness to support our classrooms, often at a moment’s notice, keeps our school running smoothly and ensures learning never stops.

Thank you for the important work you do for Fordland Schools. We appreciate you today and every day! 💙💛 Pictured below are just a few of our dedicated substitutes.

Today we celebrate Parents as Teachers Day! 👶💙
Our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program at the Fordland Early Childhood Center provides families with valuable support during their child’s earliest years, helping little learners grow, explore, and thrive.

We’re proud to have Mrs. J leading our PAT program with care, creativity, and dedication to our youngest Eagles and their families. 💛

Celebrating a Combined 70 Years of Dedication! Last week, we bid farewell to three amazing members of our school family as they entered a well-deserved retirement. Each one has touched the hearts (and filled the bellies!) of students and staff. Mary Morris – Our beloved Music and Art teacher has spent the last 13 years inspiring creativity and filling our halls with melody and color. From glitter-covered masterpieces to unforgettable choir performances, Mrs. Morris has made the arts come alive for so many students! Gaila McNish – With 28 years of service as our dedicated Food Services Director and cook, Ms. Gaila has served up not just nutritious meals, but warmth, care, and a welcoming smile to everyone who walked through the cafeteria doors. Her legacy of love through food will live on. Janie King – For 29 years, she has been a constant, comforting presence in our elementary kitchen. Her kindness, hard work, and steady devotion to our students have made her a true hero behind the scenes. To Mary, Gaila, and Janie — thank you for your years of love, laughter, and service. You’ve made a lasting impact, and you will be dearly missed. Happy Retirement!
